CEEA is pleased to introduce a one-day institute offering parallel workshops on teaching engineering and developing engineering education research. The CEEA Institute for Engineering Teaching and Educational Research (IETER) will run on Saturday, June 3, 2017 immediately preceding (but not included in) the annual summer conference.
For 2017 we are offering the following special sessions:

These workshops will include a significant number of active sessions to support participants’ interest, and include opportunities for networking and sharing.
The cost is $200 (plus HST) for the full day, which includes two refreshment breaks and lunch. The registration is not included in the regular conference registration, nor the regular conference workshop registration. Students can register at a reduced rate of $ 100 (plus HST)
Important information on registration for this event will be handled through EventBrite for this event only and will not be included as a part of the regular conference. The registration is expected to open by April 13. Please bring confirmation of your registration with you to the registration desk the morning of June 3. No onsite registration will be accepted.
Notification of workshop registration cancellation must be received by phone, mail, fax, or email by May 4, 2017 in order to receive a refund of the workshop registration fee, less an administration fee of $30 CAD. After May 4, 2017 cancellations will be subject to a processing fee of 50% of the total cost. CEEA Memberships will not be refunded.
Workshop registrations may be transferred without an administration fee upon notification or online by May 20, 2017 if space is available.
