CEEA-ACEG is pleased to request expressions of interest for hosting the 2022 Annual CEEA-ACEG conference. The annual conference is typically held in early June, and attracts over 250 engineering education professionals from across the country and beyond.
If your institution is interested in hosting, we would ask that you please send a letter to ceea-aceg@ceea-aceg.ca outlining the following:
-Institution name,
-Name of key committee members (conference chair, technical chair and treasurer),
-A brief description of the proposed conference theme,
-A brief description of facilities available for conference sessions and participant accommodations,
-Proposed dates,
-An indication from institutional leadership (president, dean or vice-dean as appropriate) of support.
Letters of intent will be reviewed and institutions under consideration will be invited to submit a full proposal for consideration by Friday, April 26, 2019.
Affiliate Members interested in hosting a conference in their region are invited to submit their application to the CEEA-ACEG Head Office. The CEEA-ACEG Board of Directors will make the final decision on where a conference may be held – based on the following structure:
Central - East - Central - West - Central
*Changes to the locations may happen by Special request and appropriate justification.
The call for proposals is currently open - please submit your interest in hosting the 2022 conference by email to: CEEA-ACEG Head Office by TBD. At that time we will send you the application package, which is due by TBD. Contact the CEEA-ACEG Head Office to express initial interest. Consider engaging with us as you consider whether to apply to host an upcoming conference, and while putting together your application.
Currently our priority are applications to host the 2022 Conference, however, we are also open to receiving bids for future conferences.
