Abstract:<\/strong> Imagine a world where each one of us has access to safe water, affordable, reliable and sustainable energy, inclusive, safe and sustainable cities, affordable and inclusive STEM education and preserve resources. Would you like to play an active role in making this happen by 2030? Then register to the upcoming workshop, delivered by students at the University of Guelph and the University of Waterloo, where you will be introduced to the Canadian Engineering Grand Challenges (CEGC) identified by Engineering Deans Canada (EDC) and you will be provided an opportunity to explore how engineers can envision and develop a safe and sustainable world. You may be surprised to know that in 2021 there are many Canadians that do not have access to safe and reliable drinking water and many cities are struggling in offering a greater diversity in transportation modes. Interacting with fellow students across Canada, you will engage in leadership concepts and tools, and apply the Triple Bottom Line to reimagine solutions to complex problems that face Canadians today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
