Course Design 1: Checklist, networking, and discussion

As September quickly approaches, and instructors are preparing their courses, it can be easy to miss certain considerations – especially with many teaching remotely for the first time. This webinar session will aim to prompt instructors with a ‘checklist of considerations’ to help finalize preparations before the term starts.

The session will begin with considerations for courses designed for remote teaching, however, most of the session will be dedicated to connecting with other instructors. Multiple breakout rooms will provide participants with the opportunity to learn what others are doing who are teaching similar courses, share ideas, and receive feedback. This session will be most beneficial to participants who bring their course materials as ‘works-in-progress’, and come with an open mind to connect and learn from each other.
