About the College and First-Year Engineering Program
The College of Engineering has undertaken a complete redesign of its first-year program, incorporating research-informed best practices in course design, teaching and learning methods, approaches to student assessment, and experiential learning opportunities.  Launched in the fall of 2021, this innovative program has positioned the College at the forefront of engineering education in Canada, making the University of Saskatchewan a destination of choice for excellent students from across Canada, and beyond.

The new curriculum has a modular structure, featuring a high degree of alignment in the sequencing and presentation of materials, both across courses and over the academic year.  In addition, a consistent assessment strategy has been implemented within courses based on the competency-based model, allowing students some opportunity to revisit and retest material that they have yet to master. For more information on the program, please visit our website.

Review of applications will begin immediately; however, applications will be accepted and evaluated until the position is filled. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2024.

Interested candidates must submit a cover letter; a one-page description of their teaching philosophy, a detailed curriculum vitae, and any additional supporting documents in a single PDF to [email protected]
